When it comes to insurance claims there is an additional bonus for participants. Stewart Gilham, fleet manager for More O Ferrall, Adshel (now the More Group (UK) Ltd.) points out that the company has reduced insurance premium per vehicle from £845 to £650 in just 18 months,
"A view echoed by the A+ Group in Berkshire who say that since becoming involved with Driving Services, their insurance claims have fallen from 21 to 6 with the amount paid out down from £26,000 to £4,448. With major companies like Gist (BOC Distribution Services), GlaxoSmithcline, and AstraZeneca taking advantage of Driving Services training, this looks set to be a safer and more profitable year on the roads for fleet owners and drivers."
