Driving Monitor starts social campaign for road safety
Driving Monitor has released a video on social media this week to promote road safety and the hazards of ‘texting whilst driving’.
The aim of the video clip is to raise awareness of this growing problem and to reach as many people as possible.
Kevin Curtis, Director of Driving Monitor commenting on the video, “We’re hoping this video is shared and used on all social media channels to get the message across – texting whilst driving is not only illegal, it can be fatal. Unfortunately, with the rise of technology and smartphones, we’re all glued to our devices and we want to remind everyone that driving should be dedicated to ‘just’ driving and nothing else.”
Back in 2016, the stats for texting whilst driving were pretty alarming, and there doesn’t seem to be any letting up of these figures.
Please share this video if you know of anyone who would benefit from seeing this, or leave us a comment below.
