If it looks like a tank and drives like a tank… it’s probably a tank!

As the old saying goes, if it looks like a tank and drives like a tank – it’s probably a tank.
But a Renault Clio tank? That’s not something you see every day.
Well, one car enthusiast decided to modify an old Renault Clio by adding tank tracks and yep, you guessed it… a turret.
I’m all for hobbies, but this one feels like a bit of a fever dream of an idea.
There’s a slight issue too… it’s a tank trying to run on a four-cylinder engine.

The tracks are clearly too heavy for the little engine to cope with, hence the thick plume of white smoke pumping out of the Clio’s exhaust.
It’s a project from MasterMilo on YouTube, with the ambitious (or crazy, you decide) project picking up pace in the last few weeks – it even steers (kind of)!
Viewers have even suggested further modifications for the tank, with one viewer suggesting that a potato gun would be the perfect addition to the fog generator.
The little Clio did run into a fair bit of trouble when trying to move, with the clutch dying as it attempted to power the heavy tracks forwards.
It looks like a lot of fun, though.
If you were undertaking a car modification project, what would you try to achieve?
An amphibious Ford Transit Van? A Fiat 500 monster truck?
