With the World Cup set to begin in the next couple of weeks, fleets are being urged to be wary of potential drink-driving issues.
That’s because with many England and Scotland games scheduled to air late at night (and some through the middle of the night), as well as during midweek, there is a risk that those who drink the night before might still be over the drink-drive limit the following day.

While drink-driving is always a relevant concern, road safety campaigners and the Department for Transport (DfT) are making a point of urging drivers to be careful in the coming weeks.
Estimates from the DfT have suggested that lowering the drink drive limit could reduce fatalities by as many as 100 every single year.
Those changes are part of the government’s new Road Safety Strategy, which plans to increase penalties for a range of driving offences.
