You Can’t Park There…

If you’ve ever parked in one of those giant car parks at theme parks, at the airport or outside of a sports stadium, you might have forgotten where you parked.

We’ve all been there – it says ‘Zone N’ somewhere nearby but now it’s dark and you’re wondering where you left the car…

Well, that’s one thing, but parking in places you’re not supposed to is another thing entirely.

I don’t mean on double yellow lines or anything like that, I’m talking about a story in the US this week that involved a car parked in somebody’s living room.

I say parked, what I mean is crashed a couple of metres off the ground and wedged halfway into their house.

Yep, really.

Incredibly, when firefighters arrived at the scene, they found that the driver was still inside the vehicle, although he was able to exit safely.

Even more remarkable, is the fact that nobody was in the house at the time and it appears that despite the eye-catching photos of the muscle car wedged halfway in (and halfway out), nobody was seriously injured.

It’s definitely one of the stranger incidents I’ve seen recently – it’s not every day you see a car stuck in a house.

The question is, what’s the strangest thing you’ve seen on (or off) the road? Let us know in the comments below.
